Fire is that primordial spirit that brings light in the darkness, warmth in the cold, that clarifies and illuminates, that brings friends together in a convivial way and that guides us on our path through life. I love to sit by the fire, under the stars with a group of friends.
Light, an extraordinary phenomenon that allows us to see and be seen, that brightens our lives, that produces a spectrum of diverse colors, and that is either the outcome, or the indwelling spirit, of fire. The Sufis speak of “vagabonding in the realms of light” referring to meditations on many dimensions of light, including the light of consciousness, and the light of sheer intelligence, the Divine Light . . .
Healing is the process of moving from incompleteness to completeness, from imbalance to balance, from discomfort to a joyful sense of well-being. In today’s world it is easy to see the tremendous need for healing – at a personal, societal and global level. Many of us are guided to participate in healing ways that foster the return to balance . . .
